Time for some working nudes!... news.

Ok, there's no actual nudes at my work (although there was mention about me coming to work in a dress from now on. I hope they weren't serious).

But there is big big news. They's changing my job! Right now my job is moving cars around the lot. I rather like it except my left leg is making it very hard to drive standards right now. I'll get into that later if I remember. But starting on January 12th I will be getting my very first desk job (gasp). Although the desk is really just a counter but meh. I'll be called a cashier down there but I'll only have to 'cashier' 5 or 6 people a day. Mostly my job is paper work to finish up work orders and the like. I don't know. Doesn't sound tooo exciting but it's a nice sit down job and apparently very relaxed. The girl that's doing it now finishes a book a week during her shifts so I can do my homeworks whilst I'm there. And what's even better is I might be getting a freakin' raise! How great would that be. I neeeeds t3h moneys!

Lets see. What else is new? Well in an hour and a half is my 3rd chemistry class! (gasp!). I'm really starting to enjoy school. Of course, everyone does on the 3rd day, eh? But I'm spending lots of time studying every day. It's an awesome feeling walking into class and being completely mentally prepared. I goofed off in high school so I never got that feeling much. I haven't picked up one of my many (many many many) medical books for 3 whole days though! But I have the weekends to study that I guess. Plus all summer.

Hmm... I also got a couch and love seat for my house! For free! It's very exciting. We've wanted some down here in the basement for ever but no one can afford 'em. But now we don't have to.

I really get the feeling that I'm forgetting something but I've only been awake for 20 minutes and I gotta catch the bus in 20 minutes. 40 minutes between being awake and being somewhere. See how I've grown? Usually it's only 10 minutes. Of course in a week it could be back to that. I should hope not but it's deffinitly forseeable.

Oh! I remembered the last thing. I got new meds! But they sucksss! I'm on celebrex now which normally would be very nice if all my symptoms were caused by the inflamation. The diclofenac made me major sick (even my doc thinks my intestine is bleeding) but I could take more of them during the day. The celebrex's side effects are sort of the same but a little more harsh. Thus I can't take any extra ones. My doc took a look at my knee and has decided that it's changed since my x-ray in april so I have to get a new one and talk to another surgeon. Evidently convincing me not to have surgury in the first place was a very dumb thing for the first surgeon to do. Blegh, to much to think about. Right well I gotta go catch the bus fellers.

G'bye friends!

I tobogganed my nose!

Technically it wasn't a toboggan. It was a sled. But Morgan and I went sledding yesterday as sort of a spur of the moment thing. We were drinking coffee and then BAM, we were on a hill with cheap sleds from zellers. As soon as we got to the hill Morgan sat down on her sled and started inching her way forward with her feet off the side of the sled until gravity could take over. Well it looked sort of goofy and I wanted to look cool while going down the hill so I kneeled down on my knees. I regreted that very quickly. Not even half way down the hill I hit a bump and went flyin'. It was actually a lot of fun but I hit my nose with the sled which sort of hurt. Fortunatly it was dark so no one could see the red mark I developed there. This morning when I got up I found the red mark was still there. It's almost gone now though but I kinda liked it. Almost as cool as one of those big scars that go from the forhead and down your eye onto your cheek but doesn't actually hit your eye.

Uh... yeah. Laters!

I drew a fish.

Soooo lucky.

Man, I'm a freakin' lucky guy. Well, if you ignore the stuff that I'm not so lucky about. But twice since I started working at Ford has my car broke down. Twice in a month and a half! The first time the tension dealer under the hood broke so stuff like my air conditioner, power drive and stuff weren't working and most importantly, it wouldn't recharge the battery while I drove so every second I was moving I was loosing battery power. But it just so happens that the mercury sable uses the exact same tensioner as a Ford Windstar! And that's the exact van that my step dad drives! And I pick him up and bring him to work every morning! So what did he do? He grabbed an extra tensioner and when he got to work he stuck it in my car and poof, I was done.

But that's not freakin' all! Two days ago I got my lazy self out of bed a whole 20 minutes before I had to be at work moving cars. That actually wasn't bad for me 'cause usually I wake up like 10 minutes before I have to be there. So as usual I climb out of bed and put on some pants and a shirt and then run outside in my socks (too lazy to put shoes on before my eyes have opened) and dash to the car so I can turn it on for the 5 or so minutes it takes me to brush my teeth and a sweater. But I was stopped in my tracks when the key turned and nothing happened.

"Gasp!" I cried. I quickly called up my step dad, whom I was supposed to already have picked up for work at this time and told him that my car wouldn't start. Being the clever mechanic he is he figured it was the starter. He drove his van over and took a look and then we sort of 'experimented'. Basically we found a hammer and he hit the starter with it a few times while I tried the key again. My car started! So I followed him back to his house, he hopped in the car, we drove to work and he put a brand spankin' new starter in all before my first coffee break.

Oh and I was out of windshield whiper fluid so I was able to 'aquire' some from the garage while it was being worked on. No one cares. They have it come out of a hose. And it hadn't been cleaned in like 8 months so I was able to take the special hose thinger to my car to clean it off. It's really quite cool. High powered hose that comes out in a line like a big brush and it has soap in the water. Cleaned it in 3 minutes.

Oh! As I side note. I've decided not to quit there. I'm going to work part time in the afternoon/evening starting in january. It won't pay me enough to survive but it's close. I'll just have to figure out the rest later. Karma seems to be on my side lately. I better do something good to keep it up.

My Pills!

I got paid on friday and could finally afford my anti inflammatories. Oooooooooooo mama do I feel good. It's weird how the lack of pain can feel so amazing. Like, my leg feels like a normal leg and I can't get enough of it.

I'm never going two weeks without them again.

Look at me sit in this chair without my leg bending off to the side! Look at that! See how it bends normally to the front 'cause it doesn't hurt?! See it?! Yeah, that's how great these pills are.

Good night everybody!

Christmas!

Whoo! I'm in such a christmasy mood. I have been for a little while though. The last few christmas's seemed to sneak up on me and leave without any notice but not this year. I've been watching christmas movies all month and admiring all the decorations I see. I went down to West Edmonton mall (largest mall in the world, for those who don't know) and they had trees set up in the halls and garlands hanging from the roof. Very festive. I lurved every minute.

So today at work I came in and Bam! All the christmas decorations were set up. Partly it was set up because they made a new commercial there today for the Boxing Week sale. I watched for a good hour as the lady said the same sentence like 200 times. I couldn't stand having to do that. Plus I hate being on camera. For those of you who don't know, the woman with the high energy voice that talks so quickly in the commericals, is the owners daughter. She's also pretty much in charge of the place since the owner is never around. She seemed nice. I didn't really talk to her but one of the guys there was mad that I was watching and she just winked and smiled at me so I guess she didn't mind. Eventually I got bored though and made giant paper airplanes out of paper floor mats.

Normally I don't waste that much time around there but I've been cleaning the shop non-stop since I got there and now there's not much left for me to do.

Wow, I'm so off topic here. This is about christmas! Um... but I guess I got no more to say about it. This post is really just for the sake of writing stuff.

Oh! And I drove a freaking Edmonton City Bus today! Beat that bitches!

Stolen'd.

So as most of you know, two of my e-mails and this blog were taken from me about a week ago. Basically I logged into MSN on monday morning to find my password was changed. The person also took my sisters e-mail and nexopia account. First I should appologize to my sisters friends because we all assumed it was one of her friends so when we started the criminal investigation, most of her friends were who we told them they likely were. Of course we were wrong. It turns out to be one of my friends.

So now there is an active investigation and we have more than enough evidence to pin-point the computer that was used to "hack" our accounts. I used quotations because hacking had nothing to do with it. It was someone I trusted enough to literally tell my passwords too. So I've called the police and let them know who the name is and now all I have to do is bring them the 8 saved conversations this person had with my sisters friends for stuff like slander, deffimation of character, threats and the usual sexual harrasment. Plus a bunch of other stuff like the IP of the computer used and for whatever reason the person used his own postal code in my hotmail account and a few other things. I don't want to say it all because the less the person knows, possibly the better. Basically my brother and I have about 45 pages of stuff to hand over to the investigater.

So the last two days I was supposed to call him with this information but I haven't. It's very be-all end-all isn't it? I mean, the guy is likely going to be in trouble right? Should I or shouldn't I? Now as soon as I got my e-mail and the like back I was going to just drop it thinking it was over but every day I log online to a couple attempts to get back into my e-mails. Let me put it this way. One more attempt and I'm calling.

So to the person, "Chris, or Sarah" (obviously not his real name), stop.

Oh, and we can prove who was at the computer so guy, don't say something like "Can't prove it was me." or anything stupid.

ASL

For those of you who don't know what ASL means, it's American Sign Language! (Probably that exclamation mark was unneccesary but I'm real excited so it's ok.)

I purchased me up a program that teaches it. It should be helpful. I have the same thing for french but my mom stole it from me so that she can learn it so here I am, learning no more languages. So I bought this 2 CD set for 9 bucks and so far... I've learned nothing. The disks with the tutorials isn't working just yet. Not sure why. But I'mma get it!

I've always wanted to learn it. In grade 3 (I think it was grade 3) they took two kids from every grade at my school and taught us how to do "Silent Night" in sign language and during the christmas assembly we all went up on stage and did it. I got chosen 'cause I already knew a word in sign language. I totally don't remember where I learned this but the middle finger is the number 18. My teacher laughed when I showed her so she picked me. :D

And then in grade 9 we had a student teacher in my class that had a deaf parent... or something. Well she taught the whole class the alphabet and every day for months after learning that I just went throught he alphabet all the time with my hands. I still do it now without even realizing it. I always wondered what it would be like to be fluent in two languages. I know some german but when I think of german words that I know, they still seem foreign to me. To be able to think in another language is completely beyond my grasp... except for the alphabet in sign.

In grade 11 two girls in my social class evidently also learned the alphabet and were signing across the room but it was really slow and awkward and they had to write down every letter as they went to get the message and I was just watching reading every letter as if they were saying it outloud. It was an awesome feeling. I didn't even realize I had learned it that well. I mean, the alphabet is not that big a feat but it was still an amazing feeling. I can't imagine how Morgan feels with her million languages.

Eventually one of the girls saw me watching and she put the letters "Can you read this?" and I smiled and nodded. Both their faces went red. I'm not really sure why. They were talking about skipping math class or something. But I guess since they thought it was private it can be embarrasing. Like wispering into a microphone.

Anyway, I've learned a little more from books this year. Not a whole lot. I can introduce myself and ask how someone is and say some of my likes and dislikes. All the makings for an unexciting conversation. So hopefully I'll learn even more soon. :D

Life up to date.

Well I'm fairly certain everyones stopped reading this blog which is understandable considering I told everyone I wasn't going to write in here anymore. That's all right. Still going to write.

The pieces are all coming together. My disability check is almost ready. The insurance company requested my medical history from wherever it is they get it and she said it can take a couple weeks after that. Well it's been 9 days so I'm assuming that it can't be terribly long, just yet. Of course there is always the odd chance that it'll get denied and I'll have to appeal it and I certaintly will. But I would assume that it goes through. I mean millions of guys get on disability for sore backs and I couldn't walk... I guess I wasn't sore but I still can get the moneys.

What else? Hmmm... Well I got me a new job. I work at a ford dealership. Real easy work actually. Basically customers bring their cars in to get fixed up and my job is to take their lisence plate, milage and serial number and then park the cars in the lot. I sort of like it. I drove a freaking school bus today. Sure it was a "short" bus but it was still a freakin' bus. It was yellow and had the little stop sign that popped out when you open the side door and everything. I also drove a few cube vans (basically a box with wheels) and I always wondered why they all have rear-view mirrors. I mean, it doesn't even have a rear window. It's a peice of wood that seperates the cab from the box. All you see in the mirror... is wood. One of lifes mysteries.

But yeah, it's a neat little job. Sort of stressful in the morning when the line of cars is going out of the garage and across the parking lot and onto the road but it's my favorite part of the day. I guess I like the challenge.

So now I'll talk about school. It's all finalized. I'm registered, booked and even payed for classes starting january 3rd. They wouldn't actually let me book my classes until I had actually paid for them. If I wanted I could pay after my first class but I wouldn't get to choose the times for my classes and they said most likely I'll have a 3 hour gap between them. I can't have that because of work so I had to pay. I ran around finding my second credit card with 1000 dollar balance that I had never used (I hid it) and I was calm... until I found out that the damn things no good. So in a stressful fit of fustration while slicing the card into a million peices I called up my mom and did what I swore I'd never do... have her pay for it.

It's not that I don't like the idea borrowing money from her... I just rather do my own. Of course she was all ready to write me a check. She's helpful that way. And so I got there and before she even got out her check book I checked my mail and poof, 400 bucks. It was the overtime I earned at my last job. I didn't realize that they paid them both seperatly. So the next day I paid 350 dollars cash, 450 dollars on my debit and a whack of moneys on my credit card (my usual one).

I am officially broke but I'm paid so I'm happy. I probably could have tried for a loan but I already owe a bunch from my year at NAIT.

And finally the webcomic... I just missed the last two updates and I don't know if I'm going to make this saturdays. Working full time after all and getting things ready for school takes hours each day. But when I start school I'll have even less time. Basically 11 hours of each day will be ear marked because of classes and working part time every day of the week. So I don't know if I'll be able to do it. I have like 17 or 18 comics on there which is very little but I still love it. It's my own place. But after a lot of thought it seems pretty easy for me to give up the comic to be a doctor.

This is way to long now so I guess I'll just end it.
