Grey's Anatomy Rant #3000

Okay, I've probably not done 3000 rants about the show but it sure feels like there is a lot to rant about. Warning, heavy spoilers if you haven't seen the episode that aired October 12th/06 (specifically it's the 4th episode of the 3rd season if you don't include the summary episode that played the day before the season premeired.)

Where is all the medicine?! Dr. Burke sewing up a dead chicken at the start of the episode is seriously the only medical practise we even saw in the whole freakin' episode. They don't even have people lie on the tables anymore because when they operate the camera only shows the doctors faces and the blue sheets that would be covering the bodies... where they even in the scene. Remember in the 1st season when they removed the girls stomach to drain the organ and it all squirted up on Merediths face? Ah, good time. Grey and Bailey had 4 hands full of little girl innards.

And the freakin' love triangles! They dragged the Meredith + Derek thing on for 41 episodes now (which is actually terribly impressive) so can't they just let the whole horrible drama die so we can move on to other things? The Christina Burke situation lasted like 6 episodes before they were finally just dating and happy. The George and Cally thing lasted like 6 episodes and they've already broken up! And the Izzy Denny thing actually had the guy die! So why won't Meredith or Derek die?! Well, not Derek. He's awesome possum. If I were a woman or a homosexual or even just myself after a few Rickards, I'd totally hit him. But Meredith is even more the whore/bitch than ever.

And is it just me or is Izzy that much more attractive without all the make up? I mean, I don't really dig the crying tears and all but it makes her human and fragile and like... a real person who doesn't live in their own little world. Maybe that's just me though.

And as a final note... 8.7 million?! WHOOO! I'm so dating the first heart transplant list patient I find.


Edit!!!: Oh, and are they afraid of having to many characters in the show or something? The same episode that Mark Sloan decides to transfer his practise to Seattle is the exact same day that Fin gets kicked out. Coincidence? Or just to many characters for the writers to keep track of? I'm fine with it though. The whole dating two guys thing was just gross.


Edit2!!!: Why did she get morphine for freakin' apendicitis?! I had to get my apendix out and I assure you I wasn't hopped up on morphine all day. Must be nice having friends who are doctors who can prescribe you morphine for every little thing.
