Job hunting.
Well, apparently this is my 100th post. That's sort of exciting. Though I'm not sure if that includes posts that I've deleted. Doesn't really matter.
So I've said that I can't get a job because of my disability claim but after talking to RBC insurance for an hour and 10 minutes today, it's become apparent that I have no choice. I haven't paid any bills since the start of september and it looks like my disability claim won't be done for about another month if not longer. It's a long story but they are doing an investigation of my entire medical history.
At the end of the month I will owe 1500 dollars in bills for rent, utilities, medical costs, student loans and phone bills as well as the money I borrowed to keep food in my belly over the last two months. And since I have school in january I only have 2 and a half months of full time work to save up the money for my classes as well as pay all that off and save up money so that I can work part time while in school. At this point I'm not really complaining though. I was earlier but now I'm not. Just sort of tellin' yah all what's going on. And tomorrow I will once again be going out job hunting.
I'll probably end up at Western Grocers even though they can't keep people working there for more than a week because it sucks so much but fact is they pay close to 18 bucks an hour and will put you to work the day after applying. But if I can squeeze out 11 shifts I'll have the 1500 bucks for all my loans and then after that it all goes into my savings. Plus there are a lot of incentive programs down there. If you work faster than what they designate as 100% efficiency (in a 2 week period) you get an extra 10 cents per hour. There are people working at 160% down there so they are making 6 dollars an hour more than they should. That would be like 24 bucks an hour for me. Plus if you show up every day for 2 weeks you get like an extra 75 cents per hour. Part of it is because the work sucks and another part of that is because they hire morons and people straight out of jail.
Anyway, I'm just rambling now. Bye.
