Life up to date.

Well I'm fairly certain everyones stopped reading this blog which is understandable considering I told everyone I wasn't going to write in here anymore. That's all right. Still going to write.

The pieces are all coming together. My disability check is almost ready. The insurance company requested my medical history from wherever it is they get it and she said it can take a couple weeks after that. Well it's been 9 days so I'm assuming that it can't be terribly long, just yet. Of course there is always the odd chance that it'll get denied and I'll have to appeal it and I certaintly will. But I would assume that it goes through. I mean millions of guys get on disability for sore backs and I couldn't walk... I guess I wasn't sore but I still can get the moneys.

What else? Hmmm... Well I got me a new job. I work at a ford dealership. Real easy work actually. Basically customers bring their cars in to get fixed up and my job is to take their lisence plate, milage and serial number and then park the cars in the lot. I sort of like it. I drove a freaking school bus today. Sure it was a "short" bus but it was still a freakin' bus. It was yellow and had the little stop sign that popped out when you open the side door and everything. I also drove a few cube vans (basically a box with wheels) and I always wondered why they all have rear-view mirrors. I mean, it doesn't even have a rear window. It's a peice of wood that seperates the cab from the box. All you see in the mirror... is wood. One of lifes mysteries.

But yeah, it's a neat little job. Sort of stressful in the morning when the line of cars is going out of the garage and across the parking lot and onto the road but it's my favorite part of the day. I guess I like the challenge.

So now I'll talk about school. It's all finalized. I'm registered, booked and even payed for classes starting january 3rd. They wouldn't actually let me book my classes until I had actually paid for them. If I wanted I could pay after my first class but I wouldn't get to choose the times for my classes and they said most likely I'll have a 3 hour gap between them. I can't have that because of work so I had to pay. I ran around finding my second credit card with 1000 dollar balance that I had never used (I hid it) and I was calm... until I found out that the damn things no good. So in a stressful fit of fustration while slicing the card into a million peices I called up my mom and did what I swore I'd never do... have her pay for it.

It's not that I don't like the idea borrowing money from her... I just rather do my own. Of course she was all ready to write me a check. She's helpful that way. And so I got there and before she even got out her check book I checked my mail and poof, 400 bucks. It was the overtime I earned at my last job. I didn't realize that they paid them both seperatly. So the next day I paid 350 dollars cash, 450 dollars on my debit and a whack of moneys on my credit card (my usual one).

I am officially broke but I'm paid so I'm happy. I probably could have tried for a loan but I already owe a bunch from my year at NAIT.

And finally the webcomic... I just missed the last two updates and I don't know if I'm going to make this saturdays. Working full time after all and getting things ready for school takes hours each day. But when I start school I'll have even less time. Basically 11 hours of each day will be ear marked because of classes and working part time every day of the week. So I don't know if I'll be able to do it. I have like 17 or 18 comics on there which is very little but I still love it. It's my own place. But after a lot of thought it seems pretty easy for me to give up the comic to be a doctor.

This is way to long now so I guess I'll just end it.

I'm back.

Apparently I can't get very far without this blog. That's all right. I can't really go into my day to day life on my other blog 'cause it's got strangers viewing it. Apparently a lot actually despite the lack of comments on it. I don't know where Peter is advirtising my webcomic but in the last week there has been 1500 comic views. I mean, with only 17 comics on the site, that is a lot. Of course one person would average 17 pages each time if they read all of 'em but geez. There is a part on my page tracker that tells me how many individual computers there are but I forgot the password to check it and I'm to lazy to go to Pips computer where he has it logged in already. It was something like 160 computers last time I checked.

So I'm unemployed again. Well, technically I have been for over a week. I hate not having money though (and I really NEED money) so tomorrow I'm going to earn a few bucks driving another car for Ford. Not sure where I'm going or what I'm driving but it's not a standard so I don't care. I can't drive stick. And they need a guy to drive cars within the lot so I might take that job to start monday. Although I was offered a job laying pipe. I would make a pile of money there. Basically it's 11 days on, 3 days off (ugh) and 10 hours per day. The guy, Greg, told me that I'd make over a couple thousand a month easy which I don't hate. But geez that's a lot of work and the entire day is outside in the snow. Hmm... I'll ponder it. Anyway, almost finished a comic so better stick 'er up.

New blog.

And I should mention that I have a new blog.

http://sidewayshappyface.blogspot.com

It's for the site. I don't want a lot of monkeys readin' all these posts so I got a new blog for them. I'll still be updating both though. This is my everything blog (and will be updated more often) and my other blog will mostly be comic stuff. Just letting you all know.

Websites up!

And thank you Morgan for finding the first of many mistakes I have on the page. Hehe, apparently in the characters page under "Craigs" profile is says "any" where it should say "at". I honestly didn't read 'em. Pip wrote them up. I'll fix it later.

But the site is up which is very exciting. The official blogs aren't but they are still being worked on. I grabbed a very nice blog script off the net and got it installed but it's not really for begginners. Infact it was rated "expert" on the site I downloaded it from. But then again, so was the forum and I was able to monkey my way to a decent one.

So I hope you all like it and as usual there'll be a new comic on tuesday.

Oh! And I know that on the front page that the body sort of pivots one pixel to the side. It's an issue with the archiving code. In firefox it pivots one to the left and in explorer it pivots one to the right. It's the closest I could get it to perfect.

I think I'll reward myself with a pumpkin spice latte now from starbucks.

You dirty rotters!

Peoples, you seriously have to start updating your blogs more. I only read maybe 5 blogs and none of you can even manage a post a week most times. One of you hasn't even updated in a month as of tomorrow morning! Come on peoples! I need drama and stories and uh... all that other stuff you find in blog enteries!
